Iron Acton K9 Club is listed with the Kennel Club. The club was formed by a group of friends living in Iron Acton, Frampton Cottrell, Rangeworthy and Yate who all enjoy training and working with their dogs. U3A Ukelele

Welcome to Yate & Sodbury District U3A. We are a vibrant, active u3a which was founded in 2005 and from small beginnings now has over 1400 members.

The u3a is a UK-wide movement which brings together people, who are no longer in full-time employment, to develop their interests and continue their learning in a friendly and informal environment. Formed over 35 years ago, there are now over 1,050 local u3a organisations across the UK, with thousands of interest groups between them and more than 450,000 members nationally - plus we’re growing every day. The u3a national body – the Third Age Trust - looks after all the u3as in the UK, providing educational and administrative support.

It's all voluntary; everyone's skills and experience are valuable, and we all learn from each other. There are no qualifications to pass – it is just for pleasure; learning is its own reward. There is no upper or lower age limit so if you are no longer in full time employment and wish to pursue existing interests, develop new skills, meet people and make new friends you are welcome to join us.
